Rules & Guidelines
- Familiarize yourself with Gossip Girl season one, your chosen character, and their Glee counterpart.
- Apply only if you are comfortable with mature themes such as violence, sexuality, alcohol/drug use, and language.
- Writing with understandable grammar and spelling is essential.
-
Keep it up.
Para frequently, text often, and blog much! Add variety to your posts. Send a message to the main or drop a note in the OOC blog if you are going to be absent for an extended period of time. Any absence longer than three days without notification will be treated as a drop from the roleplay and the spot will be reopened.
-
Be true to your character.
Keep your character true to their Gossip Girl counterpart. As the roleplay continues to develop, you are welcome to incorporate aspects of the Glee character, just make sure that your character is recognizable. Do not have Kurt acting like Puck or Quinn acting like Santana. The storyline of the roleplay will deviate from Gossip Girl season one, but please retain the essence of your chosen character.
-
Keep it clean.
You can make your interactions as scandalous as you’d like, but be sure to keep the dashboard clean! Please cut your reblogs and adhere to the para form.
-
Ask permission, not forgiveness.
When you interact with another player, please clear any major events with them. Do not spring a pregnancy or a physical fight upon another character without warning. Any major event that involves more than three characters should be first run by the main by dropping a quick message in the ask box. Any triggering events that will affect your character or another (such as violence) should also be run by the main account in the same way.
-
Go with the flow.
Interact with everyone you can—family, friends, and enemies alike! Gossip Girl explores many relationships (romantic or otherwise) and this roleplay should do the same. There will be no endgame ships, so you must be willing to experiment. You are not required to explore every possible relationship, but allow room for flexibility and give all relationships adequate time to develop. If you encounter a problem, please do not hesitate to send a message to the main or politely bring it up in the OOC blog. We’re all fans here, so post, play, and interact!
Do you have a question that was not addressed? Drop it off in the ask box!
